At Aleck, our goal is to offer you the best shipping options, no matter where you live. Every day, we deliver to customers across the world, ensuring that we provide the very highest levels of responsiveness to you at all times.

The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts:

  • Processing time: Order verification, quality check and packaging. All orders are sent to our fulfilment partner for dispatch within 48-72 hours after the order is placed. 
  • Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 2 and 5 business days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

We ship all EU, European, and UK orders from our Fulfillment Center in Germany.


WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE DELIVERY OF MY ORDER?

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1- 2 business days (Mon-Fri, 9 am - 5 pm) of receiving your order.

Estimated Transit Times:

  • Germany: 1-3 days

  • Europe and UK: 3-7 days

Please note that shipping times to more remote locations may take longer. Refer to your order tracking link for updates.

Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for late deliveries or any loss or damage due to late deliveries. For multiple items, part deliveries may occur if stock is unavailable. We will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided. Ensure the correct delivery address is entered, as we are not responsible for incorrect addresses.

We offer FREE STANDARD SHIPPING on all orders above €150 in value.

Domestic (Germany):

  • Free Standard Shipping on all orders.

Zone 1 (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, UK):

  • Orders under €150: €2.99 Standard Shipping

  • Orders over €150: Free Standard Shipping

Zone 2 (Andorra, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland):

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS - INCOTERMS

We ship all International orders (outside the EU, excl Switzerland*) using DDU incoterms (Delivered Duties Unpaid).


EU SHIPMENTS - VAT, IMPORT DUTIES & CUSTOMS FEES

For EU customers, VAT is calculated and applied at checkout based on the shipping address. The VAT rate is determined by the destination country's regulations and displayed before completing your purchase. Our system handles VAT calculation and collection automatically. If you have questions about the VAT applied to your order, please contact our customer service team.


UK SHIPMENTS - VAT, IMPORT DUTIES & CUSTOMS FEES

Orders under £135: VAT is collected at the point of sale, with no additional import VAT or duties upon delivery.

Orders over £135: You may need to pay import VAT and customs duties upon delivery, determined by UK customs based on the value and nature of the goods.

UK orders may be subject to import VAT and customs duties upon delivery, which are the responsibility of the customer. For detailed information on potential fees, contact your local customs office. If you have questions, please reach out to our customer service team.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS (NON-EU EUROPE) - VAT, IMPORT DUTIES & CUSTOMS FEES

For non-EU European customers (excl Switzerland), we do not collect VAT or sales tax at checkout. Your order may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, and brokerage fees upon delivery, determined by your country's customs regulations.

Import VAT and Duties:

  • Orders under your country’s de minimis threshold: Typically no import VAT or duties.

  • Orders over the de minimis threshold: You may need to pay import VAT and customs duties upon delivery.

SWISS SHIPMENTS / MEINEINKAUF - VAT, IMPORT DUTIES & CUSTOMS FEES

As of April 2024, Swiss customers will not have to pay import duties on their orders. This process is handled by ALECK and our third-party customs partners, ensuring that there are no additional or hidden fees for orders shipped into Switzerland.

For deliveries to Switzerland, the purchase contract is concluded between the buyer and MeinEinkauf AG, St. Gallen (CHE-331.561.017 MWST). MeinEinkauf AG handles customs clearance, invoicing, and delivery in Switzerland. This service is included in the purchase price and any applicable shipping costs.

To ensure a smooth delivery process, MeinEinkauf GmbH in DE-Konstanz (DE285677365) is also involved in the supply chain. This involvement ensures that all customs duties and VAT are managed efficiently and transparently, without incurring any additional costs for the buyer.


How It Works:

  1. Order Placement: Place your order on our website as usual.

  2. Processing and Dispatch: Your order is processed and dispatched from our Fulfillment Center in Germany.

  3. Customs Clearance: MeinEinkauf AG manages the customs clearance process, ensuring all necessary duties and taxes are paid.

  4. Delivery: Your order is delivered to your address in Switzerland without any additional charges or delays due to customs processing.

This streamlined process through MeinEinkauf AG guarantees that Swiss customers receive their orders promptly and without the hassle of dealing with import duties and additional fees.


WHAT IF I REFUSE TO RECEIVE DELIVERY OF MY ORDER AND / OR PAY THE IMPORT DUTIES / FEES?

Customers who refuse delivery or fail to pay import duties/fees are ineligible for a refund. ALECK does not accept responsibility for this.


CAN I AMEND / CANCEL AN EXISTING ORDER?

To add, remove, or change items in an existing order, or to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already been processed, changes or cancellations are not possible.

 

CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

To change the delivery address of an existing order, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already been processed, address changes are not possible.


CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

Yes. Orders are processed by our 3PLs and shipped using major carriers. You will receive a follow-up email within 2-3 business days of placing your order, providing a carrier-specific tracking link. Click the link in the email to track your order.
